WHO WE ARE
Technology professionals at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies apply expertise and innovative thinking to an ever-changing industry. Our IT department works diligently to deliver real-time technology solutions that improve service, streamline workflows and make it easier for our headquarters associates, field associates and agents to share information and conduct business.

WHAT WE DO
IT develops, maintains and supports the mainframe, network-based and Web-based computing systems used by our company and agency customers. Our most exciting, far-reaching projects include developing new applications that support customer service, policy processing and claims functions. Other initiatives include processing electronic documents and working with document imaging and B2B Web portals.

HOW WE DO IT
We develop on Microsoft® Windows®, IBM® AIX®, Novell® SUSE® Linux® and IBM® z/OS®platforms. Our current projects focus on developing and implementing client-server and distributed systems and follow a standard Project Management and Software Development Lifecycle. 

OUR STRUCTURE
The adaptable, dynamic structure of Cincinnati’s IT department is three-dimensional:
